Dr P Anbalagan

Dr. P. Anbalagan is presently the Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Government of Maharashtra. He has played a key role in strategic oversight, management and execution of key institutional reforms to make MIDC one of India’s largest and most prominent land development corporations and leading investment promotion agencies. Since joining MIDC in September 2018, Dr Anbalagan has concurrently served as a Director on the boards of Nagpur Mass Transport Company Private Limited, Maharashtra Airport Development Company Limited, Aurangabad Industrial Township Limited, Nagpur Mumbai Super Communication Expressway Limited, Khed Economic Infrastructure Private Limited, SICOM, MPCB and MPCL. Dr Anbalagan has served the State of Maharashtra for 18 years in several key roles, including Assistant Collector - Solapur & Karad; CEO, Zilla Parishad - Nandurbar; Collector and District Magistrate - Ahmednagar; Jt. Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Mumbai controlling Land Revenue Management & District Administration; and Member Secretary, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, Mumbai. Dr Anbalagan has a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from Madras Veterinary College, Chennai, and a Master of Science in Dairy Technology from the National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana. He also had a PhD in Civil & Environmental Technology.
