Dr. Anshu Singh Ghosal:

Dr. Anshu S. Ghosal is the Technical Director of SINGH PLASTICISERS and RESINS (India) PVT.LTD. (SPR). The company is a Government of India recognized Export House and is the leading manufacturer of POWERPLAST Resins and Rubber Processing Chemicals in India with supplies to the global rubber products manufacturing industry like, Tires, Conveyor Belts, Industrial Hoses, Auto Components, Rubberized Fabrics, etc. SPR has been a leader in developing and commercializing new, sustainable resins. Dr Ghosal was awarded the ‘Woman of the Year’ Award by Tyre Times in 2017 for her contributions to the Indian rubber products industry.
Dr Ghosal completed her B.E. (Chemical Engineering) from IIT, Roorkee followed by an MS and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, with a concentration in Polymer Science.Dr. Ghosal is internationally recognized for her work in the area of molecular transport through polymers with her research publications being cited regularly over a period of two decades. She has been on the review panel of several international scholarly publications. Dr. Ghosal has authored more than 10 publications in peer reviewed journals for her Research work.
A keen experimentalist, Dr. Ghosal worked on numerous assignments with DuPont and Air Liquide before joining General Electric’s Plastics division in Indiana, USA. During her decade long tenure at GE, Dr. Ghosal was responsible for process and product development for Polycarbonates, Polyetherimides and Structured Products for diverse applications. She is the holder of numerous patents for her work during this period.
Since 2004, Dr. Ghosal has been the Director (Technical) at Singh Plasticisers and Resins (India) Private Limited, where she has been responsible for developing and commercializing new resins for the rubber industry. Dr Ghosal was awarded the ‘Woman of the Year’ Award by Tyre Times in 2017 for her contributions to the Indian rubber products industry.
